‘Traitors’ star Andrew has spoken about the near-fatal road accident which left him fighting for his life.

The insurance broker, 45, suffered severe brain damage after being placed in a coma for five days following the horrific accident.

The Welshman spoke about the accident he suffered for the first time during Wednesday’s episode, where he admitted that he had been given a “second chance at life.”

Speaking to the camera, Andrew said: “I’ve been on a huge journey. I’ve been given a second chance at life. I was involved in a serious traffic accident 23 years ago.

“They said I first died on the side of the road. I was in a coma for five weeks and then was told I had severe brain damage.

The Welshman, 45, spoke about his accident for the first time during Wednesday’s episode as he admitted he has been on the road for the past 23 years.

“The injuries I sustained were horrific and after the accident I was told I would never be able to walk again. I told the doctor I would be able to walk again and I did.

As the final of the BBC show approached, Andrew continued: “I won’t fail, I can’t give anything away.”

“So, if someone tells me I can’t do something, I’m very determined and competitive. I strive to be the best I can and win.

Andrew is recruited as a traitor by Harry and former traitor Paul midway through the series, and while he doesn’t seem to take on the role at first due to his poor acting and indistinct behaviour, it appears he may now have a good chance of bagging the prize money.

Speaking before the start of the show, Andrew said he wanted to Inspiring people who have “been through a traumatic experience or struggled with their mental health” to never give up.

After the accident, his parents were told that if he woke up from his coma, he would never again walk, talk or use his arms, and may not have recognized them.

Andrew explained that he met the man who saved his life last year: “I shook his hand and said thank you for saving my life.” Not many people get the opportunity to see someone who saved their life and say thank you. It was a very emotional thing.

“I received messages from hundreds of people telling me they found my story inspiring and this prompted them to open up and start talking to their families.

“I want to inspire people, and I believe I can inspire thousands, and hopefully millions of people through this exposure.”

He revealed the extent of his injuries, saying: “The injuries I suffered were horrific, and I was told after the accident that I would never be able to walk again.” I told the doctor I would walk again and I did.

Ross became the latest player to be fired from the Traitors on Wednesday, right after being drafted just a day earlier
The remaining contestants were shocked when Ross finally revealed that he was Diane’s son

Wednesday’s episode saw a double reveal as Ross became the latest player to be eliminated from the round table.

However, when the video director, 28, was ready to leave the castle, he was surprised by the fact that he was not playing the game alone.

Just the day before, Ross had been inducted as a traitor and fans were desperate to see if he could successfully avenge his mother Diane’s murder.

But that wasn’t the case, after spending the day in Zack’s firing line based on a theory surrounding the armor, the group eventually voted to banish him.

“I’ll leave you a little Easter egg before I go,” Ross said. “I was actually someone’s son in this game… and that someone was Diane.”

This revelation sent shockwaves around the roundtable, and the double revelation of Ross being a traitor and Diane’s son overwhelmed the group.

“Oh my days, Rossi Ross,” said Harry, who was involved in Diane’s murder and meant that Ross would have to watch her being buried in a coffin.

“Obviously we killed Diane and made Ross go to his mother’s funeral. This game is crazy.
