In the short interview, MGK seemed visibly uncomfortable as he seemed to struggle to hear Brundle over the sounds of the crowd and the racetrack. When Brandel asked what was currently going on in his career, the musician simply replied: “I’m not thinking about my career.”

After a series of awkward questions and answers, MGK eventually asked Brandle to play air piano to accompany his air guitar. When Brandle became flustered, Kelly gave the camera a thumbs-up and left the interview, where Brandle joked that he wouldn’t be on the rocker’s Christmas card list this year.

The tense interview was met with mixed reactions online, with fans calling MGK rude to Brandle and having a “worst” vibe. “My vibes are the ‘worst’ how?” Machine Gun Kelly responded on Twitter on Sunday (November 5). “Because someone stuck a microphone in my face forcing me to do a random interview when I was trying to enjoy an event? Because the car engines were so loud I couldn’t hear him? Please tell me more about why I was the worst.

He continued by asking another Twitter user why that was “I posted this meaningless video” the interview. The “I Think I’m Fine” star concluded his thoughts with an insight into his mental state. “My anxiety won out. “I hate being in public,” he wrote. See below.
